Yeah for Spring!

Well we learned about the folklore surrounding Groundhog's Day. If it is sunny and he sees his shadow, we'll have six more weeks of winter. We went outside on Wednesday and investigated the sun and shadows. On Thursday, Groundhog's day it was bright and sunny, but guess what? Neither Canadian groundhog saw their shadow, so it's an early spring. Confused? Yeah, so were we!! The students had a great time with the make and take centre, thanks for all the beautiful junk. Next week, we will turn our house centre into a store. Keep sending in your empty containers. Thanks.
