Happy Spring

We were so excited to get outside to play this week. We have some new friends in our classroom, caterpillars, soon to be butterflies! It will be very exciting to watch them make their cocoons. We discovered plasticine this week, and made some awesome pictures. We continue to be fascinated with doubles!

Happy Earth Day

Happy Earth day everyone! We discussed some ways we can help keep the Earth a great place to live. Ask your little one, how they can help the Earth. We have been learning about doubles this week. It's a great thing to memorize, 1+1=2, 2+2=4 etc. This really helps with figure out math mentally, it is a great strategy to have. We are really enjoying the Eetchie presentations and we can tell everyone has been practicing their answers. The medical centre and take apart centre continue to be popular.

Pizza! Pizza!

We had a delicious week at school. We made our own pizzas on english muffins and they tasted great. Some brave friends even agreed to taste green peppers, a few put them on their pizzas. We changed our house centre into a medical office there seem to be a few future doctors and nurses among us. We also have a few "techies" in our future, if interest in the take apart centre is any indication. Hooray for warm weather, we'll be getting the trikes out soon and will begin our planting season.
