Rolling Right Along

Well, we've had another successful week in Kindergarten. We went to our first assembly on Tuesday afternoon and learned about the Canadian hero, Terry Fox. We went for our Terry Fox walk with all of the other students on Friday afternoon. We have some exciting trips coming in October. We will be visiting the fire hall the week of October 9th through the 13th. It will be a walking field trip and we'll let you know the exact date as soon as we know. We are visiting the pumpkin patch on October 25th. Next Wednesday, October 3rd is popcorn day. If your child brings a loonie (put in note tote) they can buy a bag of popcorn.

A Great Week

We are so pleased with how the children are settling in our Kindergarten class. They are following our routines, developing friendships and seem to be having lots of fun at school. We made some graphs this week about our favourite colours and we are reading lots of books by two of our favourite authors, Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle. Happy long weekend to our early years friends.
