Welcome November

We are not sure where the time is going, can it really be November 10th already? We attended the Rememberance Day Assembly today and the Kindergarten students did a great job sitting quietly and listening respectfully. We continue talking about emotions and how we know someone is happy or mad  or sad. We are also learning lots of different words for these emotions, like joyful, blue or annoyed. We have also started putting our question of the day on the whiteboard. Some things you could ask your child about this is; How do you know how many words are in a sentence? What does the word e.g. "like", start with? What punctuation mark comes at the end of a question?

Happy Halloween

Well we had an exciting week Kindergarten. Most students were pretty excited about celebrating Halloween and collecting lots of candy! We started our "Question of the Week" in the morning and we are exploring feelings and kindness!
