Hello Snow

Winter doesn't officially arrive until December 21, but the cold and snowy weather is here and it looks like it will stay for awhile. Just a friendly reminder that boots and hats and gloves, all labeled are a good idea. Please make sure your child has indoor shoes to wear. They are certainly welcome to keep a pair at school in their cubby. A change of winter clothes kept at school is a good idea. We are sending home warmer weather clothes. We have been busy as usual at school, we made and decorated sugar cookies this week. We also made adding paper chains, which look very festive in our room.

Happy December

It is hard to believe that December has arrived. We are keeping busy as usual! We have had quite a few friends away as colds and other illness travel through the room. We made bread this week and wow did our classroom ever smell great. We are excited to start some new December activities like our Christmas writing centre and our present wrapping station. We sure would appreciate if you could please send in those empty boxes and extra wrapping paper.
