Apples, Apples Everywhere!

We investigated apples this week in our classroom. We had a taste test and the surprising results were that golden delicious was the favourite and red delicious the least favourite! We also made yummy applesauce! We also kept busy doing many different things! We pulled the seeds out of sunflowers and we made green, orange and purple from the primary colours of red, yellow and blue. Don't forgot about our trip to the pumpkin patch in Leamington next week!

Fire Safety Week

We had a very busy and fun week at school. We visited the fire station to learn all about fire safety. Thank you so much to the Malden firefighters for a great morning. We made apple crisp, it was delicious. It was the first time we baked. We learned about recipes, ingredients and directions.
