Happy Thanksgiving

As we celebrate Thanksgiving we are very thankful for the beautiful weather that we have had this week. We hope that you enjoy the long holiday weekend. A reminder that we will be walking to the Fire Station on Thursday, October 13th and welcome parents who can walk with us. We are starting a collection of unclaimed hats, coats and sweatshirts that are being left behind in our classroom. If your child is missing an item, please let us know. Labelling all of your child's outer wear is very helpful, with 42 little people in the room we do not always remember what belongs to each child and often when we hold it up, no one will claim it. Once again we have been very busy with the business of play this week.

Great Week

Despite the rainy weather, the Early Years class had another great week. On Friday we got to enjoy the motivational speaking of Sara Westbrook, "U Power, U Respect". The Terry Fox walkathon was rescheduled until Monday afternoon. We have an upcoming walking trip to the fire station on Thursday October 13th from 10 to 11 am, parents are welcome to join us. We also have a field trip to Theissen's Apple Orchard scheduled for Monday, October 17th, again parents are welcome to join us. More information to follow.
