Happy Holidays
We made it! It was a busy, fun week, with lots of things going on. We had jersey day, crazy hair day, twin day and p.j day. We made reindeer cookies, snowman using our feet and flubber. We also continued with our regular program. Check in tomorrow for more pictures to be posted of us singing our Christmas songs, all decked out in our holiday attire. The Early Years staff would like to wish you a very happy holiday and your little ones a well deserved break! See you in the new year!

A Delicious Week!
We were very busy again this week in the Early Years classroom. We had special visitors from the junior intermediate end of the school. Mr. Palumbo and his Grade Fours came to visit. They made pasta and two different kinds of sauce, red and white (oil and vinegar). We supplied the salad and cupcakes for dessert and enjoyed a holiday meal together. The food was a big hit, students were allowed to go back for seconds and even thirds, no leftovers, not even salad.
Just a reminder, next week is spirit week, wear something special everyday! The Early Years class will be singing 2 songs at the Christmas spirit assembly next Friday. This is not a concert! Just 2 songs during the carol singalong. There will be a note going home on Monday with times and details.

Welcome December!
graphing. No surprise, but when we chose our favourite kind of cookie, sugar cookies came out on top. Our favourite holiday song is, "We Wish You A Merry Christmas". We think that has something to do with the students' performance in music using the boom whackers to the song "We Wish You A Merry Christmas".
Moms and Dads please check the December school caldendar, you can find it online, for all the activities that are happening at Malden this month. Spirit week starts on Monday December 14th with Jersey Day, wear your favourite team jersey. Tuesday is crazy hair day, Wednesday is twin day, Thursday is pajama day and Friday is red and green day! Remember not next week, but staring on the 14th.
